YAML to JSON converter
Paste YAML, such as a Kubernetes manifest, a GitHub Actions workflow or an OpenAPI file, and get formatted JSON. Errors point to the line and column, like for JSON.
YAML 1.2
Read with the yaml library using the YAML 1.2 core schema, so yes and no stay text instead of becoming true and false.
Several documents
A file with several documents separated by --- becomes a JSON array with one item per document.
Anchors and aliases
Anchors (&base) and aliases (*base) are expanded, with a limit that stops files built to blow up in size.

Questions
Which YAML version is used?
YAML 1.2, with the core schema. Unlike YAML 1.1 tools, it reads yes, no, on and off as text, not as true or false.
What about files with several documents?
Documents separated by --- become a JSON array, one item per document.
Are comments kept?
No. JSON has no comments, so YAML comments are dropped in the conversion.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is converted in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded or stored; only your layout and option choices are remembered.
