Q: Is the JSON formatter free?
A: Yes. It is free and needs no account.

Q: Is my JSON uploaded to a server?
A: No. It is parsed by your browser's built-in JSON engine. Nothing you paste is uploaded or stored.

Q: How do I find an error in my JSON?
A: Invalid JSON shows the line and column of the first problem, and the editor selects that position.

Q: Can it minify JSON or sort keys?
A: Yes. Minify removes all whitespace, and Sort keys orders object keys alphabetically at every level.

Q: Can it fix invalid JSON?
A: Yes. Fix JSON repairs common mistakes such as comments, trailing commas, single quotes, unquoted keys, missing commas and Python's True, False and None. A repair is a best guess, so check the result; you can undo it with Ctrl/⌘+Z.

Q: Can I load JSON from a URL?
A: Yes. Your browser requests the URL directly, without going through nebx, so it only works when that server allows cross-origin requests (CORS).

Q: Can it convert CSV, YAML or a JWT?
